The next scheduled ski trip is January of 2010!

The procedure for which will be as follows:

In the morning:

• Store all skis and equipment in the meat locker in the back of Old Main (by the Junior Parking Lot).  The locker will be once again locked at 8:00 AM, so please arrive to school and have your stuff there before then.

After school is over:

• Get equipment and board the bus.  Be there by 2:55 PM with your equipment so that we may leave by 3:00 PM.
• Meet for the bus in the Junior parking lot and be ready to leave by 3:00 PM.  If you are not on the bus with any gear you need by 2:55 PM, we will not wait for you.
• Bring any notes with you (regarding changes in ride, see below) when you board the bus.  Check in with me to let me know that you are present.

 The trip itself:

* Arrive in the Stratton Parking Lot around 4:00 PM at Vernon North. 

* Go to Group Welcome Center (Right of the footbridge) to get started. 

* Season pass holders—go to guest services

* Anyone taking lessons will do so at this time.

* Leave from Stratton Parking Lot at Vernon North at 9:00 PM SHARP.  If you cause us to leave later than 9:00, you will not be coming with us on the next trip.

* Arrive at Delbarton at 10:00 PM.   Please plan on calling your parents to let them know a more exact time while we are on the bus so that they are not waiting for you.  They will pick you up in Lot C (Jr parking lot)

* Bring some money for dinner if you did not order any meal vouchers.

 Some rules:

* No skiing alone-you must be with another Delbarton student at all times.

* You are representing Delbarton School-do so with pride and dignity.  I expect to hear, if anything, great things about our Delbarton students.

*If you are going home in any way other than the bus from Mountain Creek, you must bring a note with you signed by a parent.

*If you plan to ride home from Delbarton in any way other than your own parent, you must bring a note signed by a parent.

*WEAR WARM CLOTHING, INCLUDING HATS AND GLOVES!

*Lock up ALL equipment while you are there--unfortunately, it will be taken if it is left alone.
